Konatsu Pudding

Konatsu is a citrus fruit that grows on evergreen trees in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. It is a hybrid fruit that is believed to be a natural fusion of the citrus fruit yuzu and pomelo.

It has fresh, juicy, and citrus flesh. The flesh is surrounded by a soft yellow outer shell and a soft white inner pith. One can consume the pith as well while eating the fruit. The flavor and scent are excellent for use in desserts, as an accent in seafood dishes, or as an ingredient in alcohol.

This fruit is also known as New Summer Orange.

Konatsu is not well known outside of Japan. It has a nice sweet and sour taste. It peels easily and has a bright citrus scent, somewhere between lemon and orange.

This fruit is used for making a variety of dishes and food products. the aromatic zest can be added to enhance the flavor of food and drinks. Enjoy the flavorful taste of this genuine natural product itself with this Konatsu pudding.

  • It has a melt-in-your-mouth texture.
  • Konatsu is the main ingredient to manufacture this flavorful creation, delivering a sophisticated and one-of-a-kind flavor profile. Only the fruit juice produced by JA Tosa is used for making it.
  • This is made using the traditional Kochi style. The bright yellow skin is peeled like an apple and the white cuticle remains intact. This product is popular because of the fusion of two different tastes - The sweetness of the white skin and the moderate sweetness of the pulp.
  • Konatsu is often eaten with sugar or added to dressings, flavored juices, or flavored sauces.
  • It is recommended to store the product at room temperature. But it tastes better when it is cold.
